High School & College Students

High School Students

Do you find yourself thinking:

“I don’t know what to study in college.”
“I don’t know what to do for a career.”
“Should I go to college, trade school or do a GAP year?”
“How will I fit in at college?”
“There is too much stress around this topic of what to do after high school.”

College Students

Does this sound familiar?

“Should I change my major?”
“Should I transfer schools?”
“How am I going to find an internship?”
“I thought I knew my career path, but now I’m confused.”
“I’m procrastinating when I should be looking for a job.”
“I am not hearing back from companies about my resume.”

I get it! As a mom of four high-school and college-age kids, planning for life after school can be really challenging! There are too many choices, not enough guidance, lots of peer pressure and confusion about what to do.

Assessments provide valuable insights into your motivations, strengths, abilities, and personality traits!

Working together, we will…

  • discover meaningful information about you that will help you to understand your strengths, interests, abilities, and ideal work environments
  • uncover barriers that may be causing confusion
  • identify career fields and work environments according to your interests and abilities
  • develop a roadmap for the future

During our career exploration sessions, if you are facing personal or academic challenges, we can shift to a confidential coaching conversation, so you have support to help you find solutions.

“I wish I had taken the Highlands Assessment in high school. I could have avoided the need to change my academic and professional track as a junior in college. Working with Andrea, and her interpretation of the Highlands Assessment, has given me a more clear path for internships and post-graduation opportunities. Andrea’s expertise is outstanding. Her willingness to work with me from a distance has been incredibly helpful. Our weekly check-ins keep me on track with my internship search.”

“Andrea Tropeano is one of the kindest and most compassionate individuals I have ever known. Andrea has dedicated countless hours of volunteer work to help the children in our community. She embraces every task with a purely positive attitude. In each and every endeavor Ms. Tropeano goes above and beyond expectation while infusing her efforts with the warmth and love that is uniquely her own. If you are looking for someone who is committed, kind hearted and talented, Andrea Tropeano is the one to call.”

“Andrea is a godsend for teenagers trying to figure out their path and gain some non-parental guidance on college with her warm, healthy, positive approach. Backed by results gained from assessments that a student is likely to enjoy, Andrea helped our daughter have a meaningful encounter with her inner self – what she likes, what makes her happiest, where she should steer her energy. By working with Andrea, our daughter realized how to have more meaningful and productive interactions with those different from her. What a gift for the future.”
