Hi! I’m Andrea!

I am a board-certified professional career, life, ADHD and leadership coach. Clients describe me as an easy to talk to, kind, caring, and energizing person and coach.

Which is important, because no matter our education, employment, or level of achievement, it’s human to sometimes feel perplexed, frustrated, or stalled when faced with important choices. And sometimes it’s tempting to take an easy way out. But we know we really don’t want to.

Can you relate? I can. In early years, when ADHD made school and life a challenge, I’d think “I can’t do this.” Yet, determined to succeed, I learned to believe “I’ll find a way.” And I did.

Resolved to “find a way,” I channeled these fascinations into success. First, in my education (graduate degree in industrial/organizational psychology), then in employment (human resources), then in advanced coach training, and now, in my own company. In fact, I’ve been happily immersed in the employee and leadership effectiveness field for 20 years.

During my nine year career in corporate human resources, I worked closely with candidates, hiring managers, and leaders, and I developed a solid understanding of the hiring process, companies’ priorities, and candidates’ desire to find the right job. Part of this work was coaching employees 1:1 and in groups to increase their effectiveness.

Yet, during individual coaching, employees or leaders would often wonder, “What’s my best career? Best way to advance? Best culture fit? Best way to lead my team? Best way to balance life and work?”

Sometimes students, and their parents, reached out to me, desperate to find clarity about complex higher education and career decisions.

So, I opened a life and career coaching company. At Impact Career Growth, I happily work with a diverse array of clients along the career continuum — students, (and parents), new grads, rising stars, experienced professionals, and leaders.

I tailor each engagement specifically to these individuals’ qualities, goals, and wishes. Some clients are thriving and want even more success. Some are struggling with poor performance, ineffective work relationships, or other tough situations, and some are just starting out. My work with each client is fascinating and fulfilling.
